Fish lures man to his death

A fish caught in an east German lake got off the hook and then lured a fisherman to his death.
The fish pulled the fishing rod out of his hands and dragged it about 100 metres away from shore at the Kleinen Pohlitzer lake near Eisenhuettenstadt, police said. The man, 46, stripped and swam after the rod.
A witness said the man reached the rod but then stopped moving. The witness swam out to help him and pulled him back to shore, where he was pronounced dead.
